Pine Ridge Reservation Winter Coat, Boot & Blanket Drive
ISO New or Gently Used Coats, Hats, Gloves, Boots and Blankets for several families on the Pine Ridge Reservation. Many of my relatives don't have electricity and rely on Wood stoves for heat. Sometimes, they run out of wood or don't have the means to travel to access it. We also would love to organize a wood delivery to Porcupine, SD, if we can. Reach out if you have the resources to help!
All Items can be brought to 1400 Courthouse Av. Auburn, NE. We will also consider pickup, if you cannot make it to our studio! Please bring asap, as it's getting very cold up north. We will be sending items as each box fills up.

Although these are the sizes requested, I am certain there will be need outside of these particular families, so if you have some to donate, bring them by and we will be happy to ship them!
We would also love to gather as many warm blankets, Flannel Shirts, Hoodies, Gloves, Hats and Scarves, as possible, to send up with the coats. We would also love to gather new Thermal Underwear/shirts and warm socks as well!
Last, but not least, I will be taking donations as well, they consistently need money/gift cards for gas to go get/cut down wood and for food/supplies. Unemployment rates are through the roof on the rez, not because they don't want to work. There just aren't enough jobs available. I send whatever I can, whenever I can. The month of December, I will be sending 10% of profits each week for the wood/gas fund.
NOTE: If anyone has the means, truck, log splitter, chain saws, etc. to get wood and haul it up there, please reach out. I will organize it!
